Neutral problems...
«

Over the past few months, it's been getting harder and harder to get my neutral light to come on. There's no problem getting the transmission into neutral, just a lot of fiddling with the shift lever to activate the light.
In the 7 years that I've owned my Valk, it has only started in neutral (With the neutral light activated). I didn't realize that this wasn't normal until I read plcae's thread below. I'll be addressing the clutch lever/switch shortly.
Two questions:Is the neutral light switch servicable? Where is it located? I'm thinking that it's dirty or worn. I remember removing and cleaning the switch in my 74 CB750...but that was a while back.

Pull your clutch lever and see if the hole in it is getting oblong. I replaced clutch switch and sidestand switch before discovering this was the problem.
