Here is a long shot.
Can a guy get a new set of Cobra Light Bars?

Some moron in a cage turned into my bike tonight and the imedeate damage I can see is my Cobra Light Bar took a damaging blow.

Bke seems fine although I Have no Insttrument lights, no tail light, the Tach is not working, I will be able to see what else is damaged tomorrow during the daylight.
What a pain in the Arse!!!!!!

Any help would certainly be appreciated.

I dont believe they are available unless you happen to find a set on eBay.  Honda Direct Line has several different kinds of light bars but not Cobra.  Good luck.

Yes I have been there and seen what they have available.
Don't really care much for that style, I Like the Cobra setup.

However I may have to settle for what is available.

Will keep searching though.

In the daylight it looks to be that the motor gaurd got bent, the highway peg is bent, will need a new blinker and the valve cover may be bent on the bottom side where the highway peg has the extra support tab touching the valve cover.

All very minor cosidering what could have happened.

Anyone with info as to where I can get a Cobra Lightbar please let me know.
Thanks.
Ride safe.

Check with Pinwall salvage...    They part out a lot of Valks and one just might have a good Cobra lightbar or the 1/2 you need.......

Sorry, I don't have a link........

The lights and tach problems are most likely fuse related. I would replace the fuses and see if they come back or blow again. If the do check the blinker ass. you said was damaged for a short. Glad your ok.

Pinwall Great Idea.

I am going to let the Stealer figure out the Absence of lights issue, After all their Insurance will be paying for any repairs.

Thanks to all.

The lights themselves are available from Cobra.  Are both your billet bars damaged?  I have one brand new bar for one side, don't know which, right now.  What side do you need?

The taillight and tach are on the same fuse.  I wouldn't be surprised if the instrument lights are on the same one also.

Long Day sorry about the late reply.

The Cobra spot an bilnker seem to have the only damage.

As far as the wireing issue I hope to find aout more Monday.

Will talk to the Insurance guy to find out how they want this to be handled.

I will keep you informed with any new info.

Thanks to all.

Here is a good link for the lamps.  Awhile ago I purchased the 50W Par 36--good lamp.   Don't buy them from Cobra--too expensive.

Cost for Damage repairs = $1100.00
New Baker wings
New Cobra Light Bar & Blinker
New Left Engine Guard
Fix lighting issues.

The mount for the Cobra spot was broke, apparently Cobra still has the light bars for sale but must only be for the Dealers.

They said the forks and the rest all check out OK.

Good news.

Hope to be back riding soon.

Thanks to all.
