Great riding!!!!  Brother TP took me down part of it leaving out Minnesota - we went down the Wisconsin side.  Awesome ride, great roads and beautiful scenery.  He knew where to take me up for some spectacular views of the Mississippi and locks.  He sure knew the area!

We also went down a couple of the "letter roads" and stuff as well.

Great riding and BEAUTIFUL country - for sure and for certain.

And if you are in Wisconsin - you just gotta go through CREAM, ya know.

Even got to see Pike's Peak on that ride.  Pike's Peak Iowa that is....

 cooldude

did the road in Wisconsin from Lacrosse to Prarie du chen and then back up
the west side Minnesota north then crossed east to ride the hills of Wisconsin

or are they called Dells?

Was surprised at the scenery, the hollers was similar to what I would see in
West Virginia once I was northeast of Lacrosse

Any road called DD is a road worth travelling  The FF was outstanding as well

Pretty much have only ridden on the Wisconsin side and it is a beauty. My favorite place to cross the Mississippi is at La Crosse ... a wonderful ride up and out of the Mississippi valley. Keep thinking about riding the Illinois side down to St. Louis but just haven't gotten to it yet ... plus I heard that it may be called "The Great River Road" but you don't see much of the river. Guess I'll have to make time to find out.

Rode up and down ol muddy several times one summer from Baton Rouge to Paducah lake. I'm originally from a little town just about 20 miles from the Mississippi, right where the White, and Arkansas rivers run into it. Did my sight seeing from the deck of a tow boat. The roads along the river from Memphis south will probably not be very interesting. Flat and straight as they wind slowly through farm and swampland.
But the old deck hands kept telling me how beautiful the river was from St Louis north. I never got up that far, but still would like to someday. Either from the cockpit of my own little boat, or the saddle of my Valkyrie.
