Great pictures... anyone know if the BRP is still closed off around Asheville? I've run it
from the western most end in NC up to where you get off at 278, and, on Joe's ride
last year, down to where we left the parkway at 80 (great road 80)...

  Sad You can get to mt. mitchell from the other direction but just past the entrance to mt. mitchell ii is barricaded.
Also north of Blowing Rock you have to get off the BRP twice. I know one of those is due to work being done on a bridge.

The BRP is hard to beat. I haven't been there since 6.29.07, but that was a wild ride right up until... Lips Sealed

Loved the BRP pics. Ridden it many times. The pics brought back memories. Thanks.

My wife likes to spend her time taking pics from the back of the bike too as we ride.

Yep, and it is 16 miles from my driveway to 80. or 226A or hwy 181. It's a tuff life but someone has to do it.  Grin
