since the wife is in florida visiting mickey mouse. i decided to take my mother riding today and take her out for a nice lunch.
rode about 3 miles and stopped for gas. ok, tank full everything working properly..time to roll
pulled out of the gas station and proceded down the road. now the road i'm on is a 3 laner with the center being a turning lane. Quite often people wanting to get across the road in heavy traffic will pull into the center lane and wait for a spot to open up.
Well this morning. this couple in a pickup truck pulled out in front of me. tickedoff i figured they probably seen me coming and was going to take the center lane till i got past. Well no they did'nt. next thing i know they were coming over on me.
Well no problem.. theres a big shoulder. So i headed for the shoulder of the road. got right up beside the passenger door. and laid on the stebel air horns. ( thats right. 2 stebels not just 1 ). ..well my mother jumped because she really was'nt paying attention and i also looked into the pickup as i was going by.
What i saw made me laugh so hard that i almost lost it. when i layed on the horns. the woman in the passenger seat jumped so bad that all i seen was a newspaper flying threw the air, a cup of coffee hitting the windshield and she danm near ended up on the drivers lap.. needless to say..when i got around them..they hung way back..how much ya wanna bet the driver got an ass chewing for being stupid and she got one for spilling coffee all over the inside of his truck.. 2funny

I'm glad you and your mom's okay. I love the air horn. I have mine mounted in the stock horn location. It works great.

Stebels are great!  I lit up a Deer standing on the side of the road this morning on my way into work with mine.  You can never tell with them critters so when I saw him I slowed way down and when he didn't move I hit the horn.  That got him going back into the woods in a hurry.
