Sounds like an unknown product. To me anyway.

I would stick with Honda Moly Paste or even better the Guard Dog products.

BTW - Your poll. Which is Yes & which is No?

Many VRCC members have talked about having good luck with good grease instead of
moly paste, and perhaps the most important thing is proper reassembly...

But still...

Me and Stanley used this on his splines, we picked it up at Grainger, moly paste seems
hard to find otherwise in a small town...

I use regular synthetic marine grease.
I dont use a lot, just enough to coat the parts.
My splines and other parts dont show any rust.
You will get some flug out of the wheel if you over lubricate the splines though.
I've seen some pretty ugly splines from lack of maintenance.
Grease may not be the best alternative, but will work if you cant find the moly paste.

Remember to replace all three o-rings. That is your only insurance to keep grease/moly where it is supposed to be.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Where did you find that? I had a auto parts place look for some for 2 weeks before he gave up.

Me and Stanley Steamer picked it up at the Graingers in Athens Georgia, a relatively
small town, unless you live in the middle of Wyoming, or some other vast western state, there's
probably a Graingers near you...

That's the beauty (for us anyhow) of that brand... we could just drive over and pick some up.

If you were to order it (of course you can order anything, Honda moly, Guard Dog, whatever)
you could get it from Amazon... I just looked over at Amazon and found this...

Beeman Metal-2-Metal (M2M) Moly Paste

60% moly, $4.25! What a great price!
