Does anyone know what would make my exhaust so toxic smelling? When I park my bike in the garage, or when I start up in the morning, my exhaust has an extremely gaseous smell to it. My mileage isn’t bad, 35 mpg on average. Rides good, starts good, plenty of power, idles all right but does seem to sputter a little when cold. Spark plugs look great, well maintained, did the sea foam think in the fuel and crankcase this winter. Bike has 50k miles on a '99 IS. Any ideas would be great!
Thanks.
Sounds normal to me..... It is a gas combustion engine and when cold it does take a little more fuel to make it run right.
Anytime ya run one in a garage or any enclosed room for that matter they are going to stink.......... So back it outside and fire it up. let it run for a short period and then take the choke off........
