Hi all,

I picked up a six degree trigger wheel a while back and really improved my gas mileage.

Went to order another one for another bike, but, the website doesn't appear to exist.

Anyone know where you can get a six degree these days.....

Thank you!

D - you don't gotsta buy one.
Just take the stock one and file a little off each the teeths to advance the timing. There used to be a "How-to" article on the Tech page. Maybe someone will post a link. Very easy to do  cooldude

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

GiG, just saw your avatar. Careful walking with that carton on the street. Some cop might come up and smell it!  2funny  cooldude

It is very easy to just file  the one side of the single tooth in the center hole of the trigger wheel.  Then when you put it on the crankshaft, you can turn it to stock position or you can turn it to an advance position. Once you tighten the crankshaft bolt, the trigger wheel will be locked in place till you loosen that bolt again.

I thought I saw a photo of this mod on the boards somewhere but could not find it just now.  However, I could take a photo of a 6* trigger I have and put it up showing which side of the tab to file and could probably calculate the amount to file off.  That is, if it would be a help to you.  I did this mod on my Valk but I do not remember how much I filed off.

The 6* wheel I have is not only advanced in timing but the teeth are smaller and more rounded which I believe would weaken the signal from the signal generators.  That is why I did not instal it.
