I've been a little lax in exercising lately but made up for it today.

I went to the fitness center and walked around the track one brisk mile, not much but, at my age, still good.  The Ipod was chugging out tunes through my headphones.  Since I had gotten lazy, I was walking (marching) to a marching band playing Sousa's favorites.  I pretended that I was back on the parade ground at Camp Pickett, Va. marching in our company. I still remember that great day when we 'graduated' from basic training.  The sun was shining and we were passing in review.  "Hopalong" as we called him was in step for a change and all I saw, as we did an EYES RIGHT past the reviewing stand, was a long line of legs in perfect step.

My attempt to accomplish the almost double time marching back then,  was not quite as fast but, after all , 60 years had passed since I was bright eyed and bushy tailed Grin

Overall, though, I exercised about an hour this morning, walking, working out on 10 different Nautilus machines, and came back home feeling like I'd dropped about 15 years.

It sure beats PMS'ing on the board and gets me ready for some ridin' come Spring.  Motorcycle related. cooldude

Wait until tomorrow & next day, Wayne! Today would have been my third day - but the gym was closed. Didn't discover that until a thirty mile drive this morning. Yesterday, the second day - had to drop weight to ease the soreness. Hang in there!

I've been exercising for quite some time, just slowed a little.  I don't get sore muscles since I'm more interested in keeping flexible rather than lifting very heavy weights.
