We had a great weekend this weekend.  I had not been on my bike since the day before Carl's accident (9 months ago) and after many health issues, I was finally able to make my first road trip this weekend!  It was great!  I was not only able to share the road with my husband again, but with our very good friends, as well!  It has been a year and a half since all of us had ridden together, and boy did it feel great!

We met up with RHonda and Raymond and Blackduck Friday night and rode on in to Oklahoma City.  There we stayed with Scott and Joni and had a great time!  Saturday, we hooked up with some of the OK group at Jim Orr's for Ribs, Fibs and BBQ.  The food and the company were awesome!  I had a great time!  We left to head home yesterday morning and rode half of the way with Rhonda and Raymond and then the rest of the way home by ourselves.

I had such a great weekend with our dear friends and I was able to put in a little over 800 miles on the bike!  Woohoo!  It sure is great to be back on 2 wheels!

Thanks to Scoot, Joni, and Jim for the great weekend!  You guys rock!

It was a good weekend, no doubt!  Glad you all could come down and hang with the Sooner State Valkyrie riders for a weekend! Smiley

For some reason I forgot my camera on Saturday, so I have no pictures to share.  Hopefully motomama will post a few.
