Well, I guess the glue used to glue on the Kuryakyn grips is tougher than Honda's glue.  I busted up my throttle sleeve trying to get the Kury grip off.  It is toast!!  And I can't get all the bits out of the grip...  GGGRRRR!!!  I tried soaking it in WD40 but that glue is STOUT!!!

So...I am in need of a throttle sleeve.  I really don't want to buy one from the dealer and have to remove the stock grip from the sleeve.  Anyone have a stock throttle grip laying around or better yet...a sleeve?

Or...know where I can get just the throttle sleeve?

PM or email me at JoeValkIS@spirit-1100.com

Thanks,

Joe

Removing the stock grip from a new sleeve is very easy. Slice it with a razor blade & peel it right off. The glue comes off fairly easy too. I have an extra in the parts stash, had one break where the cables attach & that won't happen again!
BTW the Valk throttle sleeve fits a Rocket 3 with Valk bars perfectly.  Grin
