Nears as I can figure it, we will be leaving Wytheville T/A truckstop around noon...the riders from Knoxville will be arriving approx. 11:00 am., they will need a break and time for the 3 groups to say howdy and get acquainted...the next stop is about 55 miles up the I/S probably a 30 minute stop, only standards and tourers will be fueling here, in order to assure they can make the exit 205 stop, est. 1 1/2 hrs...it is now 1:30...its about 75 miles to the 205 exit approx. 1 1/2 hrs...it is now 3:00 arriving at exit 205...this is a 60 min. stop..we'll be leaving this stop approx. 4:00 pm...
Last stop is exit 307 at the sheetz station...this is alittle over 100 miles, this will be steady riding so figure 1 1/2 hrs....arriving exit 307 approx. 5:30 pm...from there I figure we'll arrive at the hotel somewhere around 7 pm...that should leave us plenty of daylight left and not too worn out....these are estimates give or take 30-40 minutes either way....I added lots of running time we will probably make better time Smiley hopefully....we'll get cell phone numbers out to the folks that want to meet the main ride at any of these stops...stay tuned...we're getting close and the excitement is building fast... cooldude

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Good job on the stops and times.  cooldude We are getting excited!  laugh
We're staying the night near Z-ville Ohio Thur night. We hope to be at Ground 0 early afternoon. I think Kit and I will hit the hotel and get pix of the calvery coming into town. Not sure about the rest of the Yanks in the party. As time gets near I'll give you my cell so you can let us know if you are on schedual or running behind. I'll try and find a high spot for the pix.

I'm glad that the time to pull out from Wytheville is noon, rather than 10:30 that I think I had read earlier.  I'm planning to ride down from Pittsburgh, Pa area that morning to hook up with the group...that's a little over 300 miles...which is alot of riding to get in by 10:30, only to pull right out again.  I'm still going to shoot for 10:30-11:00 timeframe to have some time for a little break and a quick lunch snack before pulling out at noon.  But this is definitely more better!  And like I posted in the other thread, I am keeping my fingers crossed.  It is looking more and more like the stars and planets are all aligning in my favor...I just hope it stays that way for a few more weeks.  I really want to make this ride. cooldude

If you're stopping at Sheetz, might want to figure some extra time. All the SHeetz around me in Oh. have gone to pay first then pump unless you use your cc  Angry.

Thanks for the ride-in itinerary, Highbinder... really looking forward to this ride!

We are coming in from NE Ohio and will probably be at the hotel, Friday, early afternoon (only about 200-250 miles from home). I looked at Google Maps and it shows only about 70-75 miles from Exit 307 (your last gas stop (Sheetz)) to Chambersburg.

I think we'll check in, grab some lunch, and then I will round up the early arrivals who want to make the 70 miles down to Exit 307. We will wait for the big group at the Sheetz and ride the final leg in with everyone (plus we'll already have our rooms... pppfffftttt).

Everyone whose coming from points north & west earlier in the day... keep it in mind...

We will be making one more stop at the Welcome Center in Pa...we stop there to regroup so the ride will be all together coming into Chambersburg....time schedules remain the same along the route...hopefully... Smiley...ride safe and ride smart.
