As most of you know Wimp had major surgury on Tuesday. I've texted him a couple of time to find out how he was doing and Margie, his wife, said he was ok and he would call me when he was able. I had a real sh*tty day today so it was great to hear from Wimp around 2:00. He was cranky and irritable and wanting to get out of the hospital as soon as possible which told me he was feeling a lot better. He has been walking some and, like I said, is waiting for his parole to go through so he can go home. He told me to thank everyone on the VRCC for their thoughts and prayers and good wishes. Made me smile     |

Wimp called me this morning ( Saturday ) and is still in the hospital and in alot of pain. He was hoping today would be the day he got to come home however as of this morning it's not looking good for that to happen. I told him about this thread and all the well wishes he was getting. He told me to let y'all know he really appreciated the thoughts and prayers.  |
