any one over cut off the top of the center cover making it easier to install and to have room for running wires for other STUFF....lights and things?.....

yes..i did..did this 5 years ago and has had no ill affect on the cover..

Alph:
Running wires from fairing to the battery area. Since I have the center cover off,(doing the clutch) I was thinking of cutting it down a little. It was a bugger pulling it out with some of the wires I had run under the gas tank and through the little space I had. I may reroute a bunch of the wires.
