
Ok, it happened, the only gear that I see with broken teeth is the one attached to the rear case. I guess the engine will have to be removed for the fix. Any suggestions, tips, help or encouragement will be appreciated.

I am fixing the exact same thing right now. same gear too. yes, pull the motor. you will need basic tools and 3 big sockets, you will need a 32mm to get the nut off of the clutch. once that is out then a big daddy comes in to play, a 46mm 12pt deep socket (
