When I bought the Iron Maiden she had a big unsightly dent on the fender.

Fenders are expensive.
Bodywork is expensive.

What could I do?

I contacted Frank at Franks leather products
http://www.franksleatherproducts.com/Flapspics/NewHome.htm

And he made a front fender bra that would cover the dent.

Now the damage is hidden and I didn't have to live with a dent.
What do you think?

Fender Bra a great idea, but if I may say the tool bag may be blocking important air flow.

Mine had a similar (although only half that size) dent in the front fender when I bought it.

My brother-in-law took my fender (after I removed it, of course), a piece of 4X4 sanded out, a GOOD cushion, and a rubber mallet.

20 minutes later, you couldn't tell there was a dent there before... you really have to look for it.

However...  I DO like that leather bib!   cooldude

put dry ice over the dent and let it get very cold then hit the underside with a propane torch and the dent will disappear,

the bra is cool.

I wish we'd have talked last week.  Sad
Anyway I think the bra looks pretty good. It's different anyway.

Another comment about the fork bag. My valk had one when I bought it. Didn't think much about it at the time, but the first time I pulled it off for a good cleaning, I saw the damage it had done to the fork from rubbing, as well as the fender (big fork bag). The PO had put some thick clear adhesive plsatic over the fender to protect it, but the half inch gap between two pieces... I still need to get some polishing compound. tickedoff Needles to say, it never went back on...

All that to say that I recommend taking it off, or get something to put on the forks to protect it from the rubbing.
