Thanks,

Put them in last tire change... Avon Cobras... the amount recommended by the manufacturer...

No problems... buttery smooth...

I have 7,000 miles on the Valkyrie's Dyna Beads since last spring.  When I put them in, the front Venom had 7,500 miles and the rear Cobra had 2,300 miles.  The front still looks great.  The rear shows wear, but still has several thousand miles left.  I put them in the 'wing last Wednesday and rode 1,000 miiles Thursday through Sunday.  I have no plans to go back to lead.

Please check how much lead you have on your wheels before buying.  (Partly) because Avon doesn't put dots at the heavy spots of their tires, the dealership had 2oz of lead on the front and 3oz on the rear of the Rumblebee.  That's more than the recommendations for tire of those sizes.  If you do your own tire work and balancing, or if your dealer is more conscientious and is willing to "scoot" the tire around on the wheel to find combination that requires less weight, the recommendations at Innovative Balancing would probably apply.

Also note that the 'wing had no lead on the wheels at all, but I still put 2oz in the front and 3oz in the new darkside rear.

I put them in both front and back tire of my V65 magna, seemed to be an approvement. I had a new Dunlop E3 put on the front of my Valk, put dyna beads in it, seems to be riding just fine, am looking forward to how the tires will wear in the future as opposed to lead weights.

I notice absolutely no difference. Maybe that's good? I never experienced any "out of balance" conditions anyway. Can anyone actualy notice a difference?

I had them in my Venoms for 6000 miles. Nice and smooth up to 125mph. When I installed my darkside tire, I was curious to see what the inside of the tire looked like. There was no damage at all, in fact there was still a sticker in there, the beads were not even abrasive enough to remove the sticker. I give them  cooldude  cooldude

Thanks for all replies.  I ordered a Battlax for the rear (I hear they are good tires) and will install the beads, as well as in the front (E3 with about 7k).

I just used DynaBeads for the first time in my new Cobras. I was scepticle but  so far they are smooth to 80-85. I've only had them in about a week. After a few more miles on the tires, when I'm out on the I-495 I'll run her up to 100 plus, that will be the real test on how smooth they are, I'll let you know.

Another option to consider is "Ride-on" sealant which also balances the tires. I was very impressed with the balance of my tires after installation, though I have yet to test the sealing characteristics. dual sporters swear by it.
