No Sir.....that's not frugal or cheap......that there is just plain dangerous.  Duct Tape can fix just about anything........but not that there tire.

No kidding. I've seen DY used to temporarily patch tires but from the INSIDE. What he's doing isn't cheap. It's moronic.

You'd be surprised at what was done during WWII when it came to tires. That duct tape is nothing, at least his tire is holding air. Some of ours on dad's old '34 Ford didn't, so they were stuffed with rolled up straw, rags, anything you could find that helped it hold a shape and stay on the rim. Some tires went four and five years that way until they could be replaced after the war.

Speeding tickets weren't too plentiful then either.  Grin
