so many people now adays think they need a gun.  they should stop watching TV and live in the real world.  when was the last time you really needed a gun?  hell, i've walked down streets in chicago that was gang land, and didn't have a gun, didn't feel like i needed one either.

i've been in a car accident, so yes i have insurance for that, yes, i've had a flat, don't carry a spare with the cycle though (and a cycle tire is harder to find in a small town).  i had a guy break into our business after hours once, i had a gun then, it was the ONLY time i had to use it, even though had i just yelled at the kid, it would have worked just as well......  i'm just saying that in most cases you don't need to carry a gun, so why have something "more" to worry about?

Jim, i read your comments, and i'll give you a thumbs up  cooldude.  and to keep things on topic, if i were to ever carry a gun, i would get a side holster something to keep it out of sight and out of the weather.  easier to carry on a cycle also.

I commute back and forth to work on my bike. I have a concealed carry permit, and I always carry at my business. I don't really feel the need to have a gun on the bike, but I don't want to be seen transferring it in and out of the saddlebag so I just leave it in my pocket. I have a Kahr PM9, a P380, and a j frame that I alternate depending on the pants I happen to be wearing and my mood.
