Does anyone know if you can fit an 07 Ultra Classic speedometer to a 98Valkyrie?
I have an Ultra Classic fairing with HD guages and I would like to be able to hook up as many of the guages as I can!

You'll probably have to get a HD wiring diagram so you can see which wires are used for what purpose on their speedo. And, you'll need to pick up an I/S sender, bolts right in place where the mechanical one mounts on the front wheel. Then use the wiring from the sender and match to the HD speedo. Chances are you'll need something called a Speedo-Healer to correct for the difference in the Honda sender and the HD speedometer. You'll have to use the output from the sender, wire it into the Speedo-Healer, then the output from that to the HD speedometer. I did that on a friend's Valk, he wanted to adapt a VTX 1800C speedo and tach which I was able to do using the Healer.  The link takes you the Speedo-Healer mfr. website.

Good luck, keep us posted on your progress.

It is possible to use your existing tach and speedo gauges in those holes, not sure if they are close at all to matching the look of the other HD gauges. To use the exisiting gauges all you need to do is remove the back chrome coverings on each gauge (and the trip reset knob) and they fit right in the holes. After trying various types of brackets to hold the gauges in place, I found a bead of industrial strength hot glue around the back side of each is the ticket. I also had to buyy a speedo cable extension (eBay). It is also possible to rig up your trip reset knob with the HD fairing, there have been some fairly resent posts with pics on here. Hope this is of some help.

Thanks, I have 2 sets of new take out guages (1 black face and 1 silver face)!  I recently bought an odometer reset cable and a cable extension!  Since then I came across these guages and figured I could at least cover up the small guage holes with lighted gauges even though I know I won't be able to hook them all up!  I haven't gotten the guages in the mail yet so I'm not sure how the'll look!
