And that's some nasty salty fog.  We got caught in that last year riding at night.  We left Key West and headed to Cape Canaveral to see the final Discovery launch.  Duh, we had no reservations and got laughed at when we pulled into the first hotel looking for a room.  So we headed up to Daytona (called ahead for reservations).  It was dark by this time and the fog rolled in.  Slimed everything and made visibility horrible.  We ended up at a place on the beach and watch the launch from there the next day.  About 3-4 minutes after you lost site of the shuttle you could hear it and feel it.  Cool!  Made up for that nasty salty fog the night before.  Took some scrubbing to get the bike clean.

Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

Those pics are of fog coming in off the Gulf of Mexico in Panama City Beach.  That's the other side of the state from where you were.

btw.....that's just down the road from here and where they hold Thunder Beach twice a year.

So it's not salty fog on that side?  I'm sure any fog that rolls in off the ocean down there will slime your bike.  Cool pics, but nasty fog.

Yep, we have better quality slime free fog 'round here.   Wink

How cool is that!  Very little fog here in high and dry Colorado.
