Does any of the HD solo racks work on the Valkyrie?

Not that I know of, without modifications.

Some of the other Honda Solo Racks seem to be closer.

Example: Honda Shadow.

But even they will require you to make a mount, etc.

I sure hope somebody(s) responds to lil abners post that has made modifications to allow another solo rack to be installed on a Valk. I want to do the same to my bike and I'm hesitant to just buy anything that strikes my fancy. The ShowChrome rack for the Honda Aero is nice.   Smiley

Send Reb a P.M.  He can tell you of a rack that looks really good with little modification.
Here is his bike with the rack.

I made a simple bracket with a piece of aluminum and some screws from Lowe's. I'm not a machinist or anything. I used a drill press and an air grinder to cut and shape the bracket. The biggest pain is bending it slightly to mach the curvature of the fender, and getting the holes to line up with the passenger seat bolt holes. I sanded and polished the bracket as well for a extra shiny thing to go along with everything else  Grin . I have a few buddies I know of with CNC machines, I have the bracket designed on AutoCad and ready to be machined. It's just hard to motivate someone with no motivation these days.  Grin
