It's sad. At one time she was the best in the world.

we all knew amy winehouse was going to "off" herself with drugs, didn't think Whitney would. she was such a beautiful woman. so sad.  |

I read last week that she was broke. I wonder if she took her life because the money was all gone. Apparently she blew over $100 million and was being fronted money towards her next album. I guess she couldn't live like us poor folks.

I came to the USA on my first vacation in 1991. Flew into Atlanta and caught a connecting flight to Virginia Beach to meet my English friend who lived there. He told me I was going to see a singer named Whitney Houston on the naval base at Norfolk, VA. I had no idea who the singer was. She couldn't dance at all but bloody hell could she sing. The sound in the hanger was amazing. Whitney Houston. R.I.P. Your demons died with you.

Whitney Houston was a huge talent that had a voice and talent exceeding most of the human race, really liked most of her music. Having said that, it was obvious that she also had some major issues with drugs. Her music will be missed, her drug addiction won't be. I feel for her children and those of her family.
When you lead a life on the edge, don't be surprised if you fall off. Yes, I was a fan of her music but, not her life style. It's a sad day in the music world, no doubt but, playing with fire will eventually get you burnt.

That is sad. So talented and seemed like she had it together until she met that p.o.s. Bobby Brown.
They lived here in Atlanta and were in the news constantly for all the wrong reasons.
I hope I'm wrong but Lindsey Lohan is next.
