The frame is Scandium, that explains the big barrel sleeve.

Cool gun, but it's big for a snubby. A shrouded hammer would be nice as well if you plan on carrying in your pocket.

I thought I wanted one of these until I held it and realized it was pretty dang big.  Too big for me for carry.  Plus is ain't cheap.  Still, nice gun and video.  Love killing zombies.   Grin

There is about 350 fps advantage of the .357 over the .38 Special in a snubby so the .357 is more powerful at the cost of higher recoil, more muzzle flash, and generally heavier.

I'll stick with my Centennial 442, lighter, smaller, easier to conceal, and able to fire from the pocket.
Granted , three less rounds, and less power but it's easier to carry.  New 125 grain ammo expands fine at .38 special velocity.

AND it was much cheaper but with the same high Smith quality.

Way too big for concealed carry in my opinion. In my estimation any serious concealed carry revolver needs a bobbed/shrouded hammer as well for a smaller profile and snag resistant draw.
For my money a Kimber Ultra Carry II in .45 is a better option.  cooldude

I have been thinking that something like this would be great mounted on the Dragon... any mounting suggestions?
