Today is my last day of work. I have to get my license renewed before I go to keep myself legal. I have a few other things to tackle before I go.
I'm moving to Indiana PA to start my Ph.D. this summer. I've already rented an apartment for most of the summer.

My wife is not happy that I'm leaving. She'll be following me up, but not until she gets out for the summer herself. So I'll be up in PA by myself for the first three weeks. We were shopping for some odds and end groceries last night. My wife kept buying some of my favorite foods, and I had to keep pointing out I was only going to be here for four more days or so.

Saturday morning I'm going to leave about 5:30 in the morning heading North. I'm moving up on the Valk Tourer. I've never had to pack for three months before, but I think that the Valk can handle it. The apartment is furnished. So I'll be carrying sheets and towels, but not any furniture.  When I get unloaded I'll run to the store and stock the pantry.

I'm excited.
I'm nervous, but I'm excited.

He bought a Yamaha Venture?  Wink

Seriously though... Good luck with the move, it'll be tough for a while, but it'll be worth it in the long run. My wife didn't move out, but she might as well have done so while she was working full time and getting her MBA... There was a 2 year period where I was a virtual single father, but in the long run, it'll be worth it...
