Big Tom and I headed out for lunch on Saturday from Phoenix, Az. and found a good burger in Brawley, Ca. amongst other odds and ends. Enjoy!

  Good pics Michael!  cooldude  It was good to meet up with you and put together a face with a name.  i wll get over to AZ sometime soon and let's ride.  Sorry i had to take off when we stopped for lunch, looks like i missed out on some good grub.  i am around Salton Sea a lot and will stop there again.

south east salton sea, top of flag pole is sea level


  we were talking about that flagpole when we stopped.  didn't stop by as we went by in the small town of Calipatria.  here is the plaque at the bottom of pole.   If you google, not really the highest, but tall.



  have done Palm to Pines many times.   nice in the summer to get out of the heat.  Snow up there in the last few days.

  very nice dan.  beautiful up there.  50 miles for me up from 200' to above a mile.  great ride!  Cool

  but then i have to ride 50 mi down or over the mtn down the other side.
