I am still trying to install my champion bags, which has turned into quite an ordeal. Come to find ou,I have to drill holes in the bottom of the bags to attach the support.. seems this can't be done without taking the exhaust pipes off,and I am having a hell of a time with it. Any simple way to do this that I am missing? Thanks!

Gotta take off engine guards, brake pedal. Also put new exhaust gaskets on very advisable.  Do not over torgue exhaust nut 7 lbs torque bust one and you'll have a bad day.

I might have done mine wrong, but I did not have to remove the exhaust, I installed the brackets, set the bag on a the mufflers with a 3/4" styrofoam spacer, marked bags on the back side, set bags on floor, drilled holes, installed on bike
