Our country gets more Orwellian by the day. And if you don't know what that means, you need to educate yourself. How can something like this happen in America? The school lunch inspector didn't approve of the lunch this kids Mom packed and replaced it without the parents permission? WTH? Lunch inspector? Again, WTH? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/02/14/preschoolers-homemade-lunch-replaced-with-nuggets/?test=latestnews

I might understand if the kid had NO lunch.
The student’s mother told the Journal she received a note from the school about the incident and was charged $1.25 for the cafeteria tray, from which her daughter only ate three chicken nuggets.
My reply would either be:
1. Fat chance, go ahead and sue me for it and we'll see how that works out. I have an interesting couterclaim if you do.
2. Blow me.

I grew up on P B and J-baloney and cheese left over turkey and meatloaf and the warm milk the school served. Once in awhile we got a piece of fruit in our lunch sack. They'd tried that chit with my folks-well they didn't but my folks would have had a lot to say had they been messin with my lunch. Big brother watching-1984-too damn much gubmint interference. RIDE SAFE.

School lunch inspectors?!? And from the Division of Child Development and Early Education at the Department of Health and Human Services no less (that's a mouth full right there). Ya think the bureacrats and the level a bureaucracies have gotton just a touch out of hand. Naaaaaw. Not in this country. What the hell ever happened to lunch room monitors to keep little Johnny from pulling little Suzie's pigtails or chewing gum? We now have to have lunch room Nazis inspecting little Johnny's and little Suzie's lunches. WTH has gone sooooo wrong with our country that we have lunch inspectors now?

I'd say it is no worse than our Commander in Chief. and his antics. I think he calls them Czars.
Sheet, they should of seen the sandwiches I took to school and enjoyed ever bit of them. Fried egg. We had a load of chickens so eggs were cheap. LOL.
Still like a good fried egg sandwich every now and then.
In fact my last one was just 3 hours ago. Had some V8 juice and milk with it.
At noon today, I'll have a piece of toast, peanut butter and flat sliced pickle on it. Yummy. When I had my long stay in the Horse Pistol for my Quad bypass, I ate a lot of those sandwiches. It started a plain toast, then one day I asked for peanut butter, got it and a week later I went for the pickle. Hell that was 15 years ago, April Fool's Day.
