I was looking at an orange/black on Ebay.  It states that only 200 or so were ever produced.  This got me curious, and I could not find the answer in Shop Talk.

Does anybody have numbers as to how many of each color were produced?
What are the rare ones?
As for rare factory paints, .......my guess.....Not Black!

I am one of the fortunate ones to have an orange/black.  Not very many produced and fewer still around.  The only thing wrong with that color combination is having to answer every idiot that makes the comment that Honda had to steal Harley's colors to make that one.  Like, somehow, the only bike that can be orange has to be a Harley.  Or like Harley owns the rights to the color orange.  Go figure!

The absolutely RAREST of the rare is, of course... The Fast Black... The VAST majority of the black ones are incredibly slow. I believe there were only two Fast Black ones made!

I am surprised the jade green and black did not make the list. Being a one year one model color.

That reverse red/black I/S is the one I'd go after if I ever have to replace my Blue/Silver.

However, mine is one of only 20 California Blue/Silver 2000 Interstates (SC411).
