That ain't the same car...

look at the top photo and the 113 in front of the left rear tire.  Then check the same spot in the crashed one.

Not the same paint job at least.  Not that it doesn't still suck.  Just showing off my CSI skills.

Wonder how many there are??????

And how much they pay for them?????

Course in this country the government probably pays as much for a Crown Vic as the Italians pay for a Lambo!!! Wink

Good reason the cops in North America don't use Lambos.  That is what happens when you try the PIT maneuver with a Lambo.

I used to have a poster that had a Lambo with the Colorado State Troopers colors and stickers along with the bubble gum machine on top.  Had a body builder in Trooper clothes and mirror sun glasses.  the caption read "Your Worst Nightmare".  Good eye Jabba.  I couldn't see the number, but I'm sure they have a few.  Probably have a contract with the manufacturer and can use that as a recruitment tool.  If Texas had those here I would sign up now.   2funny

Good eye on the unit number, may be the same model, but maybe not the same year, The front bumper is different.

In 1966 the Westbury, NY LEO's were getting tired of the drag racers on the access road of the Long Island Expressway. They bought 2 '66 Dodge Coronet 2 dr's with 426 Hemi's. We went elsewhere!!

Apparently FAST dodge cars are still in style for the police. We have atleast one SRT 8 Challenger floating around on the highway over here.  Not sure if its county or state, and don't plan on finding out...

Yup Joe: Born in the NY jewish Hospital. (Not Jewish) I left in 1967 to join the Air Force and never went back to live. Moved to AZ in '71 upon discharge. I'm a pure Zonie now. After 40 years here I have few roots back there.
