SO while getting my front tire replaced, I noticed that the bearings have a flat spot in them. While trying to remove them, I've broken 3 bearing pullers.  2 press type, and one slide hammer style. I've tried using a punch through the wheel, but with the tube that runs between them I cant get a bite on the back of them.  Any ideas before I let the dealer soak me for $100 for an hour of labor?

Someone else willl chime in, but I'm thinking they can still be punched out, even with the spacer in.
It's been a few yrs since my fronts were done, but I had the same issue with pullers..it seemed that the spacer would just move to the side enough to catch the inner race with the punch.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Try warming them up with a torch. Freeze the new ones so they slip right in.

i used a straight rod rather than a punch and sharpened the edge to a crisp 90 degree angle.

Thanks to those that posted. Got them out thismorning with a piece of heavy wall round tube,( leftover from making new shock bushing sleeves) and a bigger hammer.
