I'm going to do it anyways......I've made the executive decision to build me a small 8'x10' greenhouse out of pressure treated 2"x4"s and 2"x2"s......with clear lexan panels for the roof.....it will be a lot sturdier than the cheap Harbor Freight kits.......I already have 3 buildings in our little back yard....getting tired of the squirrels damaging my garden every year, so a greenhouse might let me protect it and extend my growing season...... cooldude

Maybe this link will work to the pics of my woodworking shop....it was a little more detailed than what the greenhouse needs to be.....

Use your head man, greenhouse squirrel jerky. Accomplish two things at once.

Hey Stanley,

Just an FYI, you can get corrugated poly carbonate clear panels at your local Home Depot.... they are not as sturdy as the flat lexan, but they are only $12 for a 2' x 8' panel..... some of those lexan panels can run up to $40 per panel.... they usually stock them.

I have used them on 2 structures for roofing material and have held up well, but you do have to be careful and not walk on them... have to put down a piece of plywood or something to spread the weight...... I just wash them off once in a while.....

Yep, except the bottle in the front is Gordons Gin, And there is Capt Morgan on the backside to complete the set...    All the favorite food groups....

Thats the Emergency Bar....... just the choice items for a quick refill so I don't have to go to the Bar downstairs.....

There is also a fridge underneath in the cabinet with choice brews..Strohs, Bells, etc..

Main Bar is in the basement.... (sorry about the pics, but iPhone dosn't do well in darker places)

This would put Stanley in the Doghouse for sure....

Hey Stanley five years ago I bought a kit from home depot for a shed for $1100 .When it was delivered in the winter it was all wet an mildewed .The instructions were  all wet.I called home depot to return the kit an to make a long story short it took almost a year to get my money back an I haven't been to home depot since.I decided to make my own shed.I bought nail guns table saw an all the wood to do it for $600 .The shed is 10x10' with a 4' porch and overhang. It was great being able to do it myself.I'm looking foward to doing it again.Art .By the way, you did a great job.

Stanley, if the other stuff you posted hasn't put you in the doghouse with your wife, this won't even come close.

This is an easy one:

You build the thing and give it to her as a mothers day present.  You just missed being able to call it a Valentines' day gift.
