....my DanMarc Fuel solenoid to the hot (black) side of one of the coils?  I hear it clicking when I try it but I don't want to mess up anythig else........like how it runs!

Will have it finished tomorrow........too bad it's gonna rain all day.

I rode a few hours today to get the gas down below reserve.....I am becoming a throttle junkie.....this bike is intoxicating.........I loved my Harleys but this thing is a little different I must say Smiley))).

Whether you CAN depends on the draw of the coil and solenoid... Solenoids usually don't draw much current, so you'll probably be OK.  

Whether you SHOULD is a different story...  I'd say NO.  Some items should have their own dedicated circuit... and an engine coil falls under that list (in my opinion of course).  

You'll want the fuel solenoid to work with the key (or run) switch... but I'd suggest it working along side some auxiliary device or on it's own fused circuit.  

Just imagine that your solenoid gets hot one day and shorts... do you really want to risk burning up the coil at the same time???  A bad solenoid can be easily replaced or bypassed in an emergency... coils and coil wires are a bit more difficult.  

Take this with a grain of salt... I'm the kind of person that thinks every modern vehicle has a vastly overly complicated wiring diagram while at the same time uses vastly underrated wire sizes and electrical connectors.  I've seen one too may melted wires where a fuse never blew... (My headlight bulb socket and starter solenoid being two of them, both on the Valkyrie... let's not start talking every other bike and/or car I've worked on.)

Wired mine on a circuit running through the keyed switch.  Don't recall which circuit, but one that if it goes down, doesn't take the bike down with it.

I took your advice and found the accessory wire on the fuse box. I added a 5A in-line fuse accessible near the petcock.  It is convenient enough that I could pull it out and put it in my pocket as a theft deterrent.
Someday I will De-Smog to make more room under the airbox........it's pretty crowded under there right now
