When replacing the fork oil do you just fill it up with the required amount or do you have to pump the shock while filling?I already did the seals and am ready to refill each shock

The right fork has the dampener in it. Add the required oil and pump the dampener rod till it has resistance throughout the range of motion. Then check the oil level with a ruler. If my rememberer is good, it should be 5.3 inches down from the top of the tube. Left fork is 5.6 inches.

Are you measuring with the spring in or spring out. The amount of fluid that the manual says to use does not equate to the measured distance its off by alot, so i dont know what to go with, quantity or measurement

The measure down technique is with the springs out.
