There's a complete windshield and mounting brackets on ebay that has eight days left and it keeps climbing. Going to be interesting to see just how far bidders are willing to take it.

Man, those suckers are hard to come by. I was lucky enough to find one (windshield & brackets) on craigslist last fall for $75. Be real curious to see what the final bid is !!

Yeah, right now with shipping it would cost $300, and it still has a week to go. I have one on a shelf in the garage, I'll be interested to see how much money I have sitting up there though I have no intention of selling it or the Kewl Metal mount I have for it. Considering someone paid $840 for a set of Cobra fender rails a couple weeks ago...which I also have installed on my ride, looks like some of us have a lot of cash just sitting around getting polished.  Wink

I bought a complete used OE shield with all hardware from Bert for $150. It had a usable but delaminating "glass" that I used for a while to convert the '99 to a Tourer. Bought new glass from HDL with a 10% off code making the price $225 at the time. So I had $375 in a new/like new W/S assy. Naturally I had to put the nicest W/S on Kims Valk which had a near new glass already on. When Kim saw the W/S I got from Bert had the "Tourer" script on it she just had to have it.  Roll Eyes

How much of a problem would the decal be that is on the w/s? Is the windshield coated on both sides?
