Livin' the Valk, er, F6B life in Central Florida.

Silver Springs, Florida

Bought a set of rusty but solid stock Valk exhaust pipes {Thanks John Schmidt!  cooldude} that I only want to use the front half to make a custom exhaust. What I need to strip down to bare metal is the 3 head pipes & the first shield. After stripping I'm going to get them ceramic coated silver & use stock take-off Hayabusa cans for noise reduction.
Anyways, is there any good "backyard engineering" method or should I just take them to a shop & have them sandblasted??

'Busa muffler I'm going to use.

The place you take them to will be able to remove the chrome before ceramic coating. They will probably sandblast.

Yep the place that did my ceramic coating did that....I had mine done years ago they still look great the cost back then was $155.00 with me dropping them off and picking them up ( no shipping ).
