If there is a dealer in Northeast Illinois, I would like to try before I buy.

I have the Ultimate King Big Boy set on my Interstate and you're welcome to come and sit on it. I had the Big Boy and hated it. At Inzane last year Des hooked me up with the King Big Boy and even sold my Big Boy for me. IMHO, the King Big Boy is awesome! I whole heartedly recommend Ultimate Seats for your Valkyrie.

I'm in West Chicago between St. Charles, Wayne and Bartlett.

Ultimate doesn't sell through dealers, but there are a enough Valkyrie riders with Ultimate saddles that you should be able to find one nearby to allow you a sample ride.

I don't know if they still do it, but Ultimate shipped me a seat for my Goldwing in '08 so I could try it for a couple of weeks.  It arrived right after Hurricane Ike, and I couldn't even get to the bike for a bit, and they had no problem extending the trial period.  If I had decided I didn't like the seat, I could have shipped it back.

Give them a call and see!

When talking about Ultimate seats, it would be nice to know some stats about the rider such as height, inseam, weight, etc. I know Ultimate has there recommendations. However, in this post Chicago Mark changed out his big boy for a king big boy, why? Something wasn't right.

I'm 5'7", and on my Rune and Goldwings, they put me in the King.  The King puts the rider back further, something quite helpful when the waistline gets in the way!!

You can call Ultimate and they'll help you decide which is the one to try.  They're really helpful that way.

I tried all varieties of Ultimate on my I/S, and none of them felt better to me than my stock seat.  I just to have a stock butt, I guess.
