Nice job  cooldude  Looks like a world away from the tree covered mountains of The Great State Of Tennessee. I was watching as the front bike entered the sand covered curve....I said to myself " Watch the sand " about the same time you printed " Sand On Road " in the video....I do look forward to the day I can get out west on my bike....Thanks for taking the time to share  cooldude

I get out there quite a bit on bidness testing below sea level.  Mike, you ever take S22 or 78 on the west side of Salton sea out past Borrego Springs?  I've always been in trucks when out there, but would love to ride it on the Valk.

Joe, if you are planning a trip out that way and would like some company, let me know, I'd love to do it.  I hate to use the T word, but there's a whole lot of boring 'tween here and Colorado.  Would save time, but if I had the time, I'd ride it.  Might be a retirement gift to myself.

Glad you liked it. @Skinhead,Come on out and we'll ride! That was my 1st time at the Salton Sea. I hang out in Az. mostly. Strangely enough, 600 + miles and I wasn't very tired. Go figure!!

Nice report Michael.  Good to have you out to CA.  Great entrance there at Box Canyon.  Will have to get over to AZ for a visit before it hits 120*.
