When I pull in or release my clutch lever, I hear and feel a creakey sound comming from the lever or clutch master cylinder.

I searched "cluch lever" and didn't find anything.

It doesn't feel like the pivot point, but who knows.  It feels like the plunger is grabbing.  I wanted to squirt some spray lubricant, but I wanted to get some informed opinions first.

BTW, the fluid is full and almost clear.

Ideas appreciated.

Try taking off the lever and pulling the pin out. put the lever back on and if it still makes the creaking it is in the lever. Clean and lube lever pivot.

If that isnt  it, take a screwdriver and push in the piston. If it doesnt creak it is prolly in the bushing.

While you have the pin out clean inside both pivot bushing and reservoir area.

Be careful with the dust cover, it tears easily.

The brass cylinder in the clutch lever, dry or missing.

I squirt a little good lubricant up into there with some regularity to keep the
squeak away.

Ignoring the squeak probably leads to this:  http://lifeisaroad.com/clutchlever.html

Thanks y'all

A shot of lubricant in the pivot point fixed it.

A shot of lubricant in the pivot point fixed it.

At some point you might pull the lever off the pivot and inspect it for wear.
They do occasionally need replacement.

I use oil from my dipstick if it happens on the road.

Last time I got creaky away from home, I was in Texas... I just looked around for someone
in a pickup truck and asked if they had any wd40... they did  cooldude
