I'll bet this last one would get a bunch of giggles out of patrons who used it the 1st time.

I liked what LeBron James said in his interview.  He said he was proud to win the gold for his country. Nice to see a pro still be country proud and humble.

I watched that medal ceremony and I was impressed that they all wore the jackets, zipped up, and were all very humble when receiving their medals and flowers.
Heck, I can't sing the Star Spangled Banner unless at a football game.  I get choked up and can never finish......
I noticed that none of them sang it either, but probably not many are singers anyways.

I knew I should have recorded it to play later.

Had one killed in a wreck Saturday, only 19. Poor kid had his whole life in front of him. Sounded like a great kid. Salutitarian, Eagle Scout, acceptance to 3 military acadamies. Chose the Navy. Spent his first year there. First write up sounds like he lost control in a curve and hit the culvert.

EDIT: Sorry, should have said we lost another motorcyclist.

Lotsa work. First bunches of Halloween candy went out and that set us back a bit. 10 hr. days, and you can work 7 days a week if you want to.

Got through that and in a bit of a lull right now. Probably for a couple of weeks. Then we start the Holiday stuff and that don't end till Super bowl weekend. So mandatory 6 day work weeks with 10 hr days. And on occasion 12.

And it all starts at 5am.

Got to RC a mission in Sioux City on Sat. afternoon. Virgil Moyer. Air Force Vet. Pilot. From what I've read so far, exceptional one too. Had long career in general aviation.

Service will be at the Sioux City airport. In a hanger. We got the flag line. Still looking for a few more details. Will continue to work on that tomorrow after I get my wife's NEW PUPPY!

Springer Spaniel she picked out couple weeks ago. Naming her Gracie.

I anticipate it will only take a couple of weeks for Gracie to have us trained and for her to be in complete control of the household. Springers are smart and cute. A deadly combination. We don't stand a chance.

My daughter and her girls new puppy is named Dizzy.

They picked her up at the kennel and brought her to our house to show her off.

They let her out of the car in my back yard and she went crazy spinning around and all that crap.    She ended up acting like a drunken Sailor and the girls named her Dizzy.      The y had to give her a bath before they went home, she peed all over herself spinning and trying to pee.    Don't ask me the brand cause I don't know, all I know is it won't get very big, does not shed and active as hell.   In the house the only time you see her slowed down is if no one has her in their lap and rubbing her tummy.

Naw, I just hope she slows down some after she gets older.

I have 8 great big scabs on my arm and leg where she got me with her toenails jumping up on my chair.

My skin breaks real easy the older I get.   Also gets a lot of those blood blister bruises on the back of my hand and my arm to the elbow.

Better not be dog's name, I like Taco's.......

We have  about 6 places here in town that were started by a very good friend of mine, RIP Richard.   All of his kids run them now.   They are called Tasty Taco.

I try to stop in one of them every Friday afternoon for a late lunch.

Usually order 2 soft shell and a Pepsi.     Been doing that for quite sometime now.   Started this in 1986 or there abouts.
