Back before I knew better, I was a Yankee fan. Then they won a bunch of World Series in a row and it went to their head. Well George's head.
When they lost the series in the following year, good old George started firing staff, that pissed me off & I ain't liked them since.

Never been a Yankee or a Mets fan. For the record, I rooted for the Mets when they faced each other in the World Series. I use to be a Cub fan and to a certain extent I still am ... like to know how they are doing but don't really follow the Majors that much anymore. In fact, unless someone gave me the ticket I have no desire to even go to a Major League game. They are all a bunch spoiled brats that can only seem to whine about everything. And it isn't just the players .... it is the owners as well.
I would much rather go to a minor league game and watch a bunch of kids play their hearts out. To me, that is baseball. Those kids make very little money and give you 110% all the time.

I have been watching the Little League World Series lately.
Japan has some hellish good players. They have got to practice 24/7.

That is kind of like the dog who chases cars.
What would he do with one if he caught it?
Probably the same thing you would do with your wife.
I'll go no further with this.... Thank you very much.

I have been watching the Little League World Series lately.
Japan has some hellish good players. They have got to practice 24/7.
A few years back, I got to umpire in the Continental Amateur Baseball Assoc. 10 and under World Series. Did it for about 5 years. I don't like watching baseball outside of the fence, but inside the fence is pretty cool. Pretty good spot. Some of the most spectacular baseball you could ever watch. You wouldn't think a bunch of 10 year olds could play like this. Teams from all over the country, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Samoa, Mexico. Most of the time you can hear the pitches zipping in, they are throwing so fast. Puerto Rican pitchers would serve up curve balls from the 7th circle of Hell. Batters would bail to save their life and I'd wait for it and wait for it and go "Strike" as the ball cuts back over the plate. Texas -- Best Moms (Perennial) Hawaii was always the local darlings. Extremely competitive. Really intense. Loved it.

I always loved to watch those little upcoming guys........ Never saw too many make the major leagues over here however.
I've seen them make some hellish double plays.
One game I watched in PA. I forgot who the team was now, but they had 2 out, runners on 1st and 2nd. There was a crack of the bat, the SS got the line drive and fired to first..... Coach asked him if he thought 4 outs would be 1 out in their next inning at bat. He lowered his head and walked into the dugout.
He might not of realized how may outs, but he was really thinking ahead.

Let's hope ya don't go anywhere either, but, it is always a possibility.
I had a lot of prayers said for me in 1997, April Fool's Day.
Original Dr really screwed things up. My son and another Dr corrected the problem 11 or 12 days later.

We are supposed to get rain again today. We will take all of it that Mother Nature will send us.
The ground is drier than a Popcorn fart. A good one would set the hillside on fire.
Besides I don't have the front wheel back on the Chevy yet. Had to get a new tire. 23,000 miles out of a Metzler 880 on it isn't too bad. We will see how this one does.

Jimmy took a nice ride across the river to see the folks, there was a revolutionary war and also a civil war renactment yesterday in Cold Spring
The R/W one commemorated the Battle of Stony Point The C/W one commemorated Lincoln at the forges of Cold Spring
Cold Spring produced a great many of the cannon used in the wars
Yesterday I was busy with Stacy helping her find an apartment which was a great success and did not get out to ride until 4 or so

You a good lad in helping find an apartment. Are you paying for 1/2 of the rent? A real nice guy would do that, just in case she is broke.
