after work.....as I was taking all the stuff out of my work pants, I noticed my comb was missing(YEAH, YEAH, what does Steamer need with a comb??).....it sometimes falls out in my drivers seat.....well, I went to look for it, and it wasn't there, BUT there was something way down deep between the seat bottom and the seat back......stuck my hand way back in there and it was a black wallet....... ??? ??? ??? Shocked Shocked Shocked.....WTH????......it's not my wallet.....it had pics of some young black kids and the drivers license is of a black male born in 1988...same year I graduated HS.....and it's a Tennessee drivers license.....there was no $$ in it(no, really!), but his SS card and some ATM cards and stuff are still in it.......

I was scratching my head trying to figure out HOW it got in there......and all I can figure is that it may be from one of the guys who works at the car wash....It's been a while since I was last there....I sometimes take the Kia there and let them clean it up.....takes them 30 mins ~$15-20....well worth it to me.....

I thought that maybe it just fell out of his pants as he was pulling the car around to the front wipe down area, but I just don't see HOW it could have gotten so DEEP into the seat without being put there intentionally.....and that MIGHT mean that those guys lifted someone else's wallet as they were cleaning their car, took the $$ out, and then stashed it in my car......IF that is the case, it's troubling.....it could just as easily have been some kind of illegal substance....... tickedoff tickedoff tickedoff

I plan on calling the Car wash tomorrow and ask them if they have anyone working there by that name....really hope it was just like I described in my first scenario....and not the second..... Sad Sad Sad

When you return the wallet, tell him to stop carrying his SS card. he's just looking for trouble if it fell into less honest hands.

That's true......I once found a wallet with 13-$100bills and some other cash....CC's, etc, etc.....it was local lawyer who once had TV commercials on the Atlanta stations .....Timothy Siler......of the Siler&Jonap law firm.....boy was he glad to get it back....he tried to give me a reward, but I told him no.....he made me take a business card and told me he'd help me out if ever I needed a lawyer, thankfully, that's never been needed...... cooldude

When I first moved to Arizona they asked if I wanted mi SSN to be my Commercial Drivers licence number. I asked her if she knew that was an "Identity thieves start up kit" right there.

Thankfully Georgia is smart enough to have the Driver's License # different than the SS#....... cooldude

i realize it could be a two edge sword but you might want to drop it off at the police station and tell them the scoop.  you could always drop by and let the car wash owner know after the fact.  if it was just innocently lost they'll know where to go get it.

I thought about doing just that if the guy doesn't work at the car wash.....

How much less honest could there be? Remember he said there was no money in it?  Roll Eyes
