So if you bought a pick up truck and wanted to support the 'made in America' movement.....you would have bought a Toyota Tundra.....the MOST made in America of all the trucks. Ford, Chevy and Dodge are way down on the list.....using more foreign sourced than the Tundra.  Whooda thunk that!!

Then go to you toyota dealer and ask for a part for that car or truck.  ANY part.  See where it was made.  If it wasn't made in the U.S., then ask for another.  And another.  It's easy to fool the Feds.

Yep...my Honda Valkyrie was made in Ohio, my Nissan Altima was made in Tennessee, and my Dodge truck was made in Mexico. I buy US when I can, even my books are printed in USA (and the digital editions are made with good ol USofA electrons!), but for vehicles it's hard to do anything constructive.

If your VIN number starts with “5TF”, than your truck was made in San Antonio, Texas.
If your VIN number starts with “5TB”, than your truck was made in Princeton, Indiana.

PERIOD!
