Can the headlight switch go bad and need repair/cleaning. The same way as the "starter switch repair" in shop-talk? My headlights lowbeam is not working, not the bulb or the connections in the bucket. (tested and cleaned) I did not see anything posted in shop-talk. Has anyone had this problem? If you seperate the switch housing, the lower half drops away, how to remove the top half? It seems to be attached by the choke/enrichener.

I serviced my h-light/turn switches when I did my starter switch service. It can be done very similarly as the starter switch. It's been awhile since I did it and my rememberer is failing as to the steps involved. But, you can service it also. My turns were gummed up pretty good...

Thanks, I fingered it out. I needed to disconnect the enrichener cable from the slide on the engine. This will give you more cable on the control end to dissasemble. My low beam is fixed works like a champ, also did my blinker switch while I was in there. Amazing!! Switches work like new! The blinker switch was getting a little "sticky".
