I got a chance to get on my new IS and ride a little today. Man, is it ever different than my Harleys were. I'll have to say, the steering at slow speed will take me a little more practice experience, it was different. The outright power blew me away right off the get go. I only stretched her out to 100MPH and could tell she needs a little tweaking. Thinking it could be from sitting a lot, I put in some new, mid grade fuel and a dose of sea foam and will run it through and do it again to see if it clears up a little. First impression of a Valkyrie................................... I'm gonna like this bike

Bro, youre gonna LOVE this bike. Smoothe at a buck as it is at 35. And another thing, after a while you'll be able to go "lock to lock" in 1st gear just to show off. This ride is balanced baby.

You are now forever lost. She not only has taken over-she already won and she is in the process of letting you know. Had mine out today for 123 miles of brain floss. RIDE SAFE.

I sure remember my first ride on the Valkyrie.. It was a moving experience, literally. So much fun to ride, so much power. Funny thing is, I still get that feeling every time I throw my leg across this beast we all love so much. I have had so many bikes in my life, but there is only one Valkyrie. I envy you this first.. of many.. great rides on her!! Ride safe and often.

If it's sat, and is running rough, splurge and put a whole can in.

Wife came home from her shop at about 2:30pm and saw the bike was out and actually saw me go by her shop downtown. She said,"gonna give me a ride"? I said, get on baby, so I took her for a little spin. I got on the straight shot doing about 50 in 4th, then punched it to go around a bus and at 90 she said,"allright now"! Took her back home and she said she liked it just fine. Nice and comfortable, and fast. She was grinnin too. Yeah, we're gonna like this bike just fine.

And you was ACTUALLY thinking you were gonna ride by yerself?? Glad your S O enjoys the new to you and her ride. Her liking it should be a good thing-unless she sees the bling bills. You two are really gonna enjoy that Valkyrie. RIDE SAFE.

From about 70mph to 115mph they are a hoot.
Down slow you will miss your Harley.
But not many people buy a Valk for slow speed work.
Ride Hard But Ride Safe.
Rememeber to put your kick stand up or else.
Your switch better be working on your kick stand.
Or you will regret it.
Ask my buddy Greg.

I had a Valk years ago. Got rid of it when I bought a Wing. Big mistake!!! Still own the Wing, but missed the Valk so much, I got another Valk a year and a half ago. Like Smokinjoe said, you now own the best cruiser ever made!!!! RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!! Gregg
