How do tell if there is moly in the oil. After looking at ALL the oil at WalMart, I did see any mention of moly. How do you tell?

Molybdenum disulfide MoS

I don't think the oil companies have to indicate the individual contents in their additive packages.
Usually it is contained in "friction modifiers" when noted on the containers.
There are other indicators on the containers but I am not familiar with all the definitions.
A straight multi-grade oil will not normally have moly.
Since you pay for what you get, the cheaper oils will not have moly but can still be good oil.
There's no hard and fast rule.

There will be a statement like "Energy Saving" on the bottle.

search is your friend
I've posted many times on this. moly is not part of the friction modifiers, energy saving additive package. most m/c oils have moly in it including mobil m/c oil which actually has more than the 15w50 oil. when there is 500 ppm or more that is when problems start to arise.
I have posted the SAE report # that provides the info on moly in oil.
Delo 15w40 has moly in it.
