Hello,

I want to ride without my Rivco rotor covers for a while.
I installed them many years ago and the instruction is gone.
I recall that there was a different (shorter) front wheel collar provided, but I'm not sure.
Can someone confirm that YES, I need to install a different collar when removing the covers. If not, can someone provide the exact size of the front wheel collar? That will help me out as well.
TIA,

Beer

If you're taking about just the thickness of a couple pieces of sheet metal, you can disregard having to come up with a new spacer.

The front end can handle that little bit of difference easily.

I agree that the handling part is negligible......at my bike it does make a difference.  If you take the rotor covers off using no adjustment whatsoever, the brake pads will grind against the disks. I must admit I have installed new pads and disks as well so there is less room for error. BTW I found my old OEM collar. Thanks for the reply and assistance.
