I'm curious of how many of you have replaced the stock wheels on your Valk  with chrome wheels ?

I was looking around and found these folks who sell chrome replacement wheels, if any of you have any info positive or negative about these folks please I'd like to know before I purchase a set.

I have their chrome wheels and I'm pleased with the quality. I had to touch the ID of my rotor to fit it over the chromed flange but it was nothing. I've only had them for one season so I don't know how they'll hold up. The bearing cups were all masked off nicely so no problems with putting in the new ones. You have to remove the old bearings from your cores or they'll charge you. Their packaging was perfect and I'd buy from them again.

I bought a set of Chrome wheels in 1997.     Forgot the name of the company, makes no difference as they do not do Chrome wheels anymore, not really sure they are still in business.

Here is a fair picture of MGM kind of showing the wheels.

I let the brake dust get to the rear one 3 years ago, so it is kind of pitiful right now.    Come spring and I'll see if it came be cleaned up.    If not, then it will just have to stay that way as I sold my original rear wheel.

Here is another shot.

Haveyou thought of polishing your aluminum wheels. I did mine and was pleasantly surprised how well they turned out.   Cool

Thanks for the input, I've polished on them and aluminum is just a pain to keep nice especially  the wheels where they always are dirty.  They do polish up nicely but im wanting something with a llittle less maint.

I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow and decide whether to -buy there's or just get mine chromed

don't they have an exchange program?  send 'em yours after you buy thiers?  that's the way i thought it went.

saw 'em listed on ebay.

i wonder if they take "walk ins"?  it'd be a good savings if you went there and there was a honda dealer across the street, get new tires put on your nice new chrome rims!!

I saw them on ebay first and then just called them. They do have an exchange program and give you several weeks, as I remember, to send the cores back. They even send return labels at a decent price to assist with controlling shipping costs and hassle.
