The procedure went well.  Since they caught it so much ealier this time, they were able to do the surgery laproscopically with only a 3" incision.  Plus he was much healthier for this go 'round than he was for the last.

He was in the OR for about 5 1/2 hours.  They found a lot more fluid in his abdomen (ascites) than they anticipated.  Internally he was pretty "raw" due to the fluid and tumors.  They did the heated carboplaten flush, sewed him up, and put him in recovery.  They may release him to stay in the hotel on Sunday night and follow up with Doc on Monday.  If all is well, they'll let him head back to Louisiana.

Good to hear.  Still praying for his healing.

Five and a half hours?  I know that's better than it might have been, but it still sounds like an ordeal.

Glad to hear the good news.

Had I of felt better I would have made the trip to Omaha to see him like I did the last time.

Heal up correctly little Bud.  Prayers  and thoughts headed your way for as long as needed....

We stopped the SAWB from taking a U-Haul to the house.

See ya partner.
