Just finished servicing the rear and installing my new Yokohama Advan A048 205/55 car tire.  Just took it for a quick ride and I love it.  It is different but I like it.  I took the wheel to my local Yamaha dealer and they charged me $20 to mount and balance the tire.  For the rear service and after hours of searches in the archives on what grease to lube the rear with, I used the Bel-Ray waterproof on the rear splines and Valvoline Syn Power synthetic grease on the driveshaft splines.  Also replaced the 3 O-rings and the thrust washer and changed the rear differential fluid.  I think Im going to do the fender washer mod.  I have 11.5 inch shocks.  I did the nut cage mod but the threads stick out kind of far and look as if they could hit the tire on a hard bump.  I guess I could shave them off too.
